The only data the App ever transmits off your device is the prompt content that you yourself type into the App's input fields. We collect this data only at the moment you tap an AI action (Generate, Enhance, Debug, or send a message in Build) and only for the purpose of producing an AI response.

The App does not collect or transmit your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP-address-based profile, or any other personally identifying information. No account or sign-up is required to use the App.
The App's AI features (Generate, Enhance, Debug, Build) are powered by a large language model operated by OpenAI, L.L.C. ("OpenAI"), located in the United States. To produce a result, the App sends the prompt text described above to our backend (prompt-engineer-pro.replit.app), which immediately relays that text to OpenAI's API and streams the response back to your device. OpenAI is the only third party that receives your prompt content.
Per OpenAI's API data usage policy, content submitted via the OpenAI API is not used to train OpenAI's models. OpenAI provides privacy and security protections that are at least equivalent to those described in this Privacy Policy, including encryption in transit, access controls, and limited retention. The first time you launch the App, you are shown an in-app permission prompt that:
If you do not grant permission, the AI features of the App will not send any data; the rest of the App (Library, Profile, on-device content) remains usable. You may revoke or grant consent at any time from Profile → Privacy & Data; revoking will pause all AI features until you grant consent again.
None of this on-device content is uploaded to our servers. Uninstalling the App removes it from your device.
Our backend does not store the content of your prompts or AI responses. We may keep short-lived operational logs (timestamp, HTTP method, response status, latency) for reliability and abuse prevention. These logs do not contain your prompt content and do not identify you.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it for marketing. We do not share your prompt content with any third party other than OpenAI as described above.
The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Material changes (such as adding a new third-party AI provider) will be reflected in the in-app consent disclosure and will require fresh consent.
