PromptCraft helps you craft, enhance, debug, and organize prompts for large language models. You describe what you want; PromptCraft turns it into a high-quality prompt with the structure, role, examples, and constraints proven to produce better AI output.
Only the prompt text you type into the app is sent off-device, and only when you tap an AI action (Generate, Enhance, Debug, or Build). That text is sent over HTTPS to our backend, which forwards it to OpenAI's API to generate a response. The app does not collect your name, email, contacts, location, photos, or device identifiers.
Before the very first AI request the app shows an in-app permission prompt naming OpenAI by name. You must tap Allow before any data is sent. You can revoke or re-grant permission at any time from Profile → Privacy & Data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Open the app, go to the Profile tab, and tap Grant AI consent under "Privacy & Data." This re-opens the permission dialog so you can tap Allow.
That message means the AI features are currently disabled because you haven't granted (or have revoked) permission. Tap Grant permission in the alert, or go to Profile → Privacy & Data and tap Grant AI consent.
It changes the style of the generated prompt to suit the model you plan to paste it into. The output is always generated by OpenAI; your data is never sent to Anthropic or Google. We surface this in the app under the picker as well.
Saved prompts, version history, ratings, and your profile preferences are stored locally on your device using the operating system's secure on-device storage. They are not uploaded to our servers. Uninstalling the app removes them.
No. There is no sign-up, no login, and no account. Just install and start using it.
Yes — PromptCraft is free to download and use.
On-device data: delete saved prompts from within the Library, or uninstall the app to remove everything at once.
Server-side: our backend does not store the contents of your prompts or AI responses. Short-lived operational logs (timestamp, status code, latency) contain no prompt content and no identifiers tied to you. To request deletion of any logged entries that may relate to your usage, email support@promptcraft.app.
